Mission
ELM’s mission is to provide an opportunity for people of all ages and socio-economic backgrounds, residing in the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri or attending a school (public or private) located in the Lee's Summit R7 School District, to develop an appreciation for music through participation, thus inspiring characteristics of integrity, commitment, excellence and a sense of community. ELM accomplishes its mission primarily by awarding individual scholarships.
